Jaking is a term for the practice of asking for twitter followers. It is named after Jake, a community member who considered twitter followers to be very important (is vital to one's social status to be popular on social networks at his high school).
After Jake left, Mike agreed to follow him on twitter.
Jake's ultimate goal was for Mike Petriello to follow him on twitter, but he left MSTI right before Mike agreed to do so.
