The Albequerque Isotopes

But, it's Albuquerque is a phrase used to caution people to avoid making judgements on stats from players on the Isotopes’ roster without taking into consideration the atypical environment of Albuquerque.

For example, it is easier for hitters rack up a lot of home runs due to the altitude/wind/dry air. For pitchers, it is easier to give up gopher balls that would fall 20 feet in front of the warning track at Dodger Stadium.

Originally created by Mike Petriello, and used often by the Isotopes beat writer Chris Jackson.
